AV Specialist I

About the role

Lyon College is seeking an AV Specialist I who understands the importance of seamless technology integration and possesses the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate AV systems across campus
• Support live events and streaming
• Ensure classroom tech is running smoothly
• Provide hands-on IT support to students, faculty, and staff
• Diagnose and resolve printer tantrums, network mysteries, and software shenanigans
• Occasionally explain technical issues to users

Requirements

• Degree in IT or related field
• Demonstrated experience in AV and tech support
• Certifications or skills with Crestron and live-streaming tools

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Proficiency with AV equipment and technologies
• Experience with live-streaming tools
• Strong organizational and time management skills
