About the role
The AV Lead Technician is responsible for overseeing audiovisual systems in various locations across the country. This position requires strong technical skills and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain audiovisual systems in multiple locations
- Provide technical support to users and resolve issues promptly
- Train and mentor junior technicians
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AV technology installation and maintenance
- Experience with AV systems including projectors, sound systems, and display technologies
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications
- Proficient in AV system design and integration
- Knowledgeable in industry standards and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
