About the role
The AV Lead Technician is responsible for overseeing and managing audiovisual systems across various locations. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage audiovisual systems including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure that all AV needs are met.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and system operation.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AV technology, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in AV systems, including but not limited to audio, video, lighting, and control systems.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
