AV Event Staff - Video Tech

Essential Responsibilities

• AV Operating on Ross and Panasonic hardware as well as ProPresenter and Resolume software
• Set up, wire, and patch cameras and on-stage monitors as needed
• Incorporate client media, visuals, and/or hardware
• Work closely with clients, event managers, and team members to understand AV needs and provide solutions that meet these requirements
• Provide technical advisement to other departments upon request
• Avoidant proactive troubleshooting and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to live events
• Work closely with the venue’s AV Manager & clients during shows and events.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Ross Carbonite switching and Ultrix routing
• Knowledge of PTZ Camera Systems
• Knowledge of ProPresenter and Resolume Arena
• Excellent problem-solving and incident management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Available to work variety of shifts, including mornings/evenings, weekends, and potentially holidays
• Reliable transportation to and from the venue

• While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, and sit for extended periods

• Reach with hands and arms
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be louder during live events
