Responsibilities
You will work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and assist with executing assigned projects. As a Finance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in financial planning, data analysis, and strategic decision‑making, collaborate across departments to ensure sound financial practices, contribute to key projects that impact the company's bottom line, help drive informed business decisions, and support AutoZone's continued growth and success. Throughout the internship you will collaborate in teams, manage your own projects, and work closely with finance professionals, business partners, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university for Summer 2027 (June 7 – August 6, 2027).
- Students who graduate before June 7, 2027 are not eligible.
- Must be able to reside in the Memphis area for the duration of the internship.
- Relocation assistance is available for eligible non‑local students (those without family housing in Memphis and whose college/university is not located in Memphis).
Qualifications
- Majors sought: Accounting, Tax.
Skills
- Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Experience with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, data visualization, financial modeling, and reporting techniques.
