About the role

This position at Napleton's Lexus of Wayzata builds customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence through effectively diagnosing vehicles. The Automotive Technician performs vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive customer loyalty.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, which may include employees and customers.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Other duties assigned by manager.

Requirements

• Automotive Service Technician experience.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local/law regulations.

Pay

Potential pay range of $25–$35 per flat rate hour, including incentive-based pay. Your skills and effort drive your income.
