Automotive Technician - Post Production- (2nd Shift) Monday - Thursday - Diff + $6K Bonus for (A-Level)

About the role

We’re looking for automotive mechanics with a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience to join Carvana, the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500. As a Mid-Level Auto Technician, you’ll perform light to medium automotive repairs and minimal diagnostics on our vehicles.

• Performing general automotive repairs such as radiators, timing belts, alignments, and suspension systems
• Completing repairs for wheel bearings and axles
• Carrying out vehicle climate control repair and replacement for ACs and heater cores

Pay

Start pay: $21.50 to $32.50 per hour

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools—must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license (some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
• Use of safety equipment that may include but is not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Brake and Tire Technician (min 1 year professional experience): Perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires.
• Experienced Technician (min 5 years of professional experience): Perform extensive repairs, heavy engine work, and advanced diagnostics on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles.
