Automotive Technician - Lexus

About the role

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for an Automotive Master Technician to join its team at Napleton’s Lexus of Wayzata. This position is responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards, while building customer loyalty through trust and confidence in the service provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following dealership and factory standards to drive customer loyalty.
• Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including employees and customers.
• Stay current with factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Automotive Service Technician experience.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 18 years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local/law regulations.

Pay

Potential pay range of $40–$50 per flat rate hour, including incentive-based pay.
