Role Overview: The Junior Automotive Technician conducts basic diagnostic and repair services, including oil changes, tire mounting, wheel balancing, brake, suspension, and alignment work. They utilize company inspection tools, perform safety and emissions inspections where applicable, and adhere to safety protocols and company policies. Responsibilities: Perform mechanical repairs within experience limits, handle tire services, document vehicle conditions, and follow safety procedures. Assist in basic vehicle maintenance and inspections, and support team operations as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 2 years of automotive experience, proficiency with diagnostic equipment, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a State Inspector License preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is desirable. Physical & Work Environment: Ability to work in noisy, variable temperature environments, lift up to 70 pounds, stand and move for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as bending and kneeling. Safety gear may be required.
