Automotive Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical repairs, including oil changes, tire services, brakes, suspension, and alignments.
• Conduct tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Utilize multi-point inspections and repair orders to document vehicle conditions.
• Perform State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable, following safety and ethical guidelines.
• Follow safety procedures, report concerns, and adhere to company policies and core values.
• Assist with basic diagnostics using computerized equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Work in a physically demanding environment, maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years automotive technician experience.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain a State Inspector License preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work in a noisy, dusty environment with exposure to hazardous materials.

Skills & Physical Demands

• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and safety consciousness.
• Capability to stand, bend, lift up to 70 pounds, and perform repetitive motions.
• Good communication skills and visual acuity.
