Automotive Service Technician (Mechanic)

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders, adhering to dealership, state, and factory standards.
• Address customers' primary concerns with diagnosis, repair, and quality control to meet 'Fixed First Visit' expectations.
• Master the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection and perform a video inspection on every vehicle; notify the Service Advisor if additional recommendations are needed or if more time is required.
• Complete required training as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the workspace and in all customer vehicles.

Requirements

• Accommodating and analytical, with a strong focus on precision and accuracy.
• Adept at seeking high-level technical expertise and possessing a preference for detailed, skill-based work.
• Prior automotive technician (mechanic) experience preferred, with ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications highly valued.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent degree.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid in-state driver's license with a good driving record, as per company standards.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Proficiency in using the Dealer Management System (DMS).
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Technical aptitude and mechanical knowledge.
