Job Overview
Your primary responsibilities would be making repairs to vehicles within manufacturer and industry-established quality and time standards. Repairs or Services completed will consistently deliver customer satisfaction in a manner that builds trust in our dealership.
Requirements
- Great technical knowledge of shop equipment such as alignment systems, scan/diagnostic equipment, brake lathes, strut compressors, and wheel and tire equipment.
- We will train individuals who have a desire to learn!
- Candidates with a valid PA State Inspection License and Emissions license are preferred.
- Must have a current valid PA driver's license and an acceptable driving record per dealership policies.
- Able and willing to maintain up-to-date vehicle product and technical knowledge.
- Must be a self-starter when approaching your assignments.
- Must possess the desire and ability to learn, as well as demonstrate personal responsibility.
- Attendance is an essential function of employment and you must be timely and ready to work your scheduled shifts.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
- Must be reliable, demonstrate good time management, and adhere to the highest quality standards as set by the dealership management.
- Must have a positive attitude, be honest and trustworthy.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair basic systems including brakes, alignments, suspension, cooling, and electrical.
- Install and perform all approved diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services.
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Notify Service Advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
- Assists Service Advisors, if necessary, to explain completed repairs to a customer.
- Produces accurate and clear written documentation of repairs made and time worked.
- Completes service and repair assignments correctly to pass quality inspections or test drives.
- Road tests vehicles to ensure repairs are completed properly.
- Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Provide your own tools.
- Treat all customers, teammates, and vendors with dignity and respect.
Qualifications
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in Auto Repair service or any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
