Pay
Pay range: $22–$35+ per hour (includes bonuses, commissions, and average hourly rate). Individual pay is determined by skills, experience, education, training, and performance-related bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders, adhering to dealership, state, and factory standards; maintain up-to-date knowledge of factory-technical bulletins.
- Diagnose, repair, and perform quality control to address customers’ primary concerns and meet ‘Fixed First Visit’ expectations.
- Conduct the KG Electronic Multi-Point Inspection on every vehicle; notify the Service Advisor of any discrepancies in problems, time, or scope.
- Master the Dealer Management System (Reynolds) for timekeeping, work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, and communication.
- Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and uphold superior cleanliness in your workspace and customer vehicles (“leave no trace” standard).
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of automotive technician (mechanic) experience preferred.
- Accommodating, analytical, and capable of producing highly precise and accurate work.
- ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications are a plus.
- Excellent dexterity, patience, creativity, good judgment, and attention to detail.
- Unselfish, approachable, and prefer detailed, skill-based work.
- Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend job-related instructions (electronic and paper-based).
- Valid in-state driver’s license and a good driving record, per company standards.
