Automotive Technician

EchoPark Automotive is hiring an Automotive Technician to join our team in Birmingham, AL. Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards
• Inspect and repair a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old
• Conduct 190-point vehicle inspections
• Perform lube, filter, and fluid flushes
• Handle brake system and tire repair
• Perform suspension work and alignments
• Diagnose and repair vehicle drivability issues
• Conduct air conditioning diagnosis and repair
• Perform gasket and seal repairs

Requirements

• Must be state certified where applicable
• At least 6 months of previous automotive mechanic experience, or auto tech school certification
• Own a set of tools
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn
• Respect for teammates and a positive outlook

Pay & Benefits

• Salary of $47K to $60K+ based on experience
