Automotive Service Technician

About the role

Doug Smith KIA in Lindon, Utah is seeking motivated service technicians. Our Service Department has an excellent team. They are fun and exciting to work with. We are growing rapidly and cannot keep up with the workflow. We are a drug-free work environment.

Responsibilities

• Document all work performed clearly and accurately
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• Motivated and have a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Experience diagnosing & repairing vehicles
• Maintain and keep a clean and efficient work area
• Safety & Emissions certifications preferred
• Good driving record
• Must be 18 years of age or older
