Automotive Service Porter

About the role

The Porter position greets incoming service customers, directs traffic into the service driveway, records vehicle information, escorts customers to the service advisor area, and relocates vehicles before and after service.

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming service customers.
• Drive customer vehicles from the drop-off driveway into the service area process line.
• Make key tags for incoming service vehicles.
• Shuttle customers to/from destinations when they cannot wait and no loaner vehicles are available.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the driveway service area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Driving record must meet criteria set by the group and liability insurance carrier.
