Automotive Service Cashier / Receptionist

Responsibilities

• The Cashier is responsible for receiving/processing payments for services rendered, assisting with answering the phones, booking appointments, conducting follow-up calls, and answering client inquiries in a timely, effective manner.
• Ensures excellent service standards and maintains high customer satisfaction.
• Schedules service for customers either in person or on the phone.
• Takes detailed, accurate messages.
• Verifies customer appointments and all relevant customer information (name, phone number, VIN, mileage, etc.).
• Greets customers with a friendly, professional attitude, answering any questions and/or directing them to the appropriate person or location.
• Works cooperatively with the sales and other internal teams.
• Files, scans & retrieves repair orders.
• Prepares deposits and maintains a cash management system.
• Completes daily deposit.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and follow assigned work schedule.
• Must be able to address and answer customer requests via phone and e-mail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task.
• Basic knowledge of computers a must.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
• Excellent telephone skills.
• Cash handling experience.
• Rotating Saturday.
• Must pass a drug test and a background check.
