Automotive Salesperson

We are seeking a qualified AUTOMOTIVE SALES PROFESSIONAL to join our dynamic team at Group 1 Automotive. Responsibilities
- Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking test drives; comparing and contrasting competitive models; explaining warranties and services.
- Possess strong prospecting skills, maintaining consistent rapport with previously sold customers.
- Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) score.
- Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
- Continually learn about product updates, features, accessories, inventory, and their benefits to the customer.
- Ensure business is built on customer satisfaction and be dedicated to guaranteeing satisfaction to our customers.
- Establish personal goals that align with dealership standards of productivity and devise strategies to meet these goals.
- Overcome objections, ask for the sale, negotiate prices, complete sales or purchase agreements, and explain and offer warranties, services, and finance.
- Provide sales management information through completion reports.
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions as required.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Behave in accordance with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors.
Qualifications
- Sales experience (preferably in the automotive industry) preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written forms.
- Confidence in your ability to succeed in a commission-based, performance-driven environment.
- A desire to work in a commission, performance-based, environment.
- A great attitude with a high-energy personality.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A professional appearance and work ethic.
- Self-starter and self-motivated.
- Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver license in the state where you will work and a good driving record.

$60,000.00 to $110,000.00 commission based
