About the role
Wayne Subaru is seeking qualified automotive sales professionals to join their team. Previous Subaru and auto sales experience is preferred but not necessary. The ideal candidate should be able to earn, keep, and maintain the respect and trust of the customer base.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers professionally in the showroom, on the phone, and online.
- Meet daily follow up requirements, numbers set by management.
- Build rapport with and gather relevant information from our customers.
- Aid customers in selecting a vehicle in stock by asking pertinent questions and understanding their needs.
- Develop and expand product knowledge to be a Subaru expert, including the latest models, trim levels, options, etc.
- Demonstrate product knowledge on all new/used vehicles in inventory and be aware of what is available.
- Follow-up with and prospect for customers to establish a constant flow of new, referral, and repeat business.
Qualifications
- Automotive Sales Experience, preferably Subaru experience.
- Comfortable using technology (working with computers and tablets).
- Show up to work for your scheduled shifts daily and on time.
- Bring a positive attitude to work every day and work well with others.
- Be ready to embrace and stay up to date with the latest Subaru product line.
- Communicate effectively with customers, management, and other Wayne Subaru family members.
- Professional and clean appearance in keeping with Wayne Subaru's required dress code.
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
