About the role

Group 1 Automotive is hiring Automotive Sales Professionals across our Tulsa-area dealerships, including South Pointe Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, South Pointe Honda, South Pointe Chevrolet, and BMW of Tulsa. Whether you're an experienced automotive salesperson or a top performer transitioning from retail, hospitality, customer service, or another sales-focused industry, we provide the training, mentorship, and tools to help you succeed. Responsibilities

  • Guide customers through every step of the vehicle-buying journey, from initial consultation and product selection to test drives and vehicle delivery.
  • Build rapport and establish trust by understanding customer needs and recommending the best vehicle, financing, and protection options.
  • Showcase vehicle features, technology, performance, and benefits while differentiating products from competing brands.
  • Proactively generate new business through prospecting, lead follow-up, referrals, and community networking opportunities.
  • Cultivate long-term customer relationships that drive repeat business, customer loyalty, and referrals.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience that consistently achieves high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of vehicle inventory, manufacturer incentives, financing programs, and industry trends.
  • Utilize dealership CRM tools and follow-up processes to manage leads, appointments, and customer communications.
  • Consistently meet and exceed individual sales goals while contributing to overall dealership performance and success.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience (automotive experience is a plus, not required).
  • Strong motivation to succeed in a commission-driven, performance-based environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with a high-energy, customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance.
  • Self-motivated, proactive mindset with a strong work ethic.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment and a good driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR), and drug screening.
