Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and wants and offer the right vehicles.
- Demonstrate vehicle features and benefits to customers.
- Meet and exceed personal and dealership sales targets.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of vehicle inventory and industry trends.
- Follow up with leads and maintain relationships with customers.
Qualifications
- Sales experience preferred but not required.
- Tech-Savvy: In today’s market, many sales processes involve technology. Being comfortable with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools, email campaigns, social media, and online sales platforms can improve efficiency and help you stay organized.
- Time Management: Managing multiple leads, appointments, follow-ups, and administrative tasks requires strong organizational skills. A good salesperson prioritizes tasks efficiently to maximize productivity.
- Great attention to detail and organization: whether it's remembering a customer's preferences, tracking details of a deal, or following up on a lead, paying attention to the small things can make a big difference in the sales process.
- Excellent communication: Empathy: The ability to understand and relate to your customers' needs and desires. Problem-Solving: Customers may encounter issues or questions that require you to think on your feet and offer solutions that help them feel valued. Patience: Not every customer is ready to buy immediately. Patience helps you build trust and avoid pressuring potential buyers. Networking: building a network of contacts and leveraging that network can be essential for long-term success. Motivated and goal-oriented: top salespeople are driven by goals and targets. Being goal-oriented helps you stay focused and motivated to hit monthly quotas or sales targets.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays and some holidays.
