Automotive Sales Consultant

Job Responsibilities

• Aiding customers entering the dealership, addressing their inquiries, and assisting them in selecting a suitable vehicle.
• Following up promptly with customers and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Explaining product performance, applications, and benefits to potential buyers and highlighting all available optional equipment.
• Determining each customer's vehicle needs through questioning and active listening.
• Delivering vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand the vehicle's features, warranty, and paperwork, and fostering customer loyalty.
• Staying updated on incoming inventory, features, accessories, and how they can benefit customers.
• Introducing customers to service department personnel to highlight the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance offered by the dealership.
• Performing other duties as directed by management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of automotive sales experience.
• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Bilingual proficiency is preferred.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic in a team environment.
• Prior experience in customer service or retail sales.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen as per local law.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to comply with the company's driving policy.
