About the role

Jim Taylor Auto Group is seeking a Full-Time Automotive Sales Consultant to join their dedicated team. This position requires someone who is dependable, people-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to contribute to a dealership that values accountability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers throughout the buying process
  • Listen carefully to identify customer needs and recommend the right vehicle solutions
  • Present vehicles, features, and financing options clearly, confidently, and professionally
  • Stay current on product knowledge, inventory, industry trends, and technology
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Communicate effectively with sales managers, finance, and team members
  • Maintain an organized workflow and accurate customer records in the CRM
  • Contribute to a productive, team-focused sales department

Qualifications

  • Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to a quality customer experience
  • Basic computer competencies
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work 5 days a week including Saturdays, with one off day during the week and one Saturday off a month
  • Positive attitude and willingness to continue learning
  • Active social media presence preferred
