About the role
Jim Taylor Auto Group is seeking a Full-Time Automotive Sales Consultant to join their dedicated team. This position requires someone who is dependable, people-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to contribute to a dealership that values accountability and teamwork.Responsibilities
- Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers throughout the buying process
- Listen carefully to identify customer needs and recommend the right vehicle solutions
- Present vehicles, features, and financing options clearly, confidently, and professionally
- Stay current on product knowledge, inventory, industry trends, and technology
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals
- Communicate effectively with sales managers, finance, and team members
- Maintain an organized workflow and accurate customer records in the CRM
- Contribute to a productive, team-focused sales department
Qualifications
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to a quality customer experience
- Basic computer competencies
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work 5 days a week including Saturdays, with one off day during the week and one Saturday off a month
- Positive attitude and willingness to continue learning
- Active social media presence preferred
