About the Role
Join a growing business committed to family, employee advancement, environmental stewardship, and community involvement. The Automotive Sales Assistant supports Sales Consultants, Sales Managers, and customers in the dealership showroom.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and determine their needs.
- Describe and explain merchandise, including use, operation, and care.
- Update customer records in dealership applications.
- Answer basic procedural questions via customer contact.
- Coordinate test drives and trade vehicle appraisals.
- Pull vehicle invoices and run rebate summaries.
- Work with the finance department to gather customer information for credit approvals.
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure accessory installations.
- Schedule appointments and deliveries.
- Reconcile monthly sales volume.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Qualifications
- Dependable, friendly, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
- Office experience and general telephone skills.
- Typing and documentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Organized with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reynolds and Reynolds experience preferred but not mandatory—training provided.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to follow through.
