Duties
- Diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, steering, heating and cooling, and related systems
- Perform used-vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Use scan tools and shop equipment to find problems and verify repairs
- Absorb more complex diagnostics and engine or drivability work
- Keep work clean, accurate, and on time
- Communicate findings clearly to the service team and customers when needed
Requirements
- At least 3 years of automotive repair experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Own toolbox and professional hand tools
- Working knowledge of brakes, suspension, HVAC, and diagnostic equipment
- Comfortable with computers and modern scan tools
- Strong customer service and a team-oriented attitude
- ASE certification is a plus, not required
