Duties
- Quality control review of automotive programs
- Investigations related to automotive programs
- Monitoring probation cases related to automotive programs
- Providing training and guidance to the field office
Requirements
- Valid California driver’s license (CDL)
- Medical clearance prior to employment
- No revocation or suspension of departmental-issued licenses for Vehicle Safety Systems Inspection, Smog Technician, and/or Smog Inspector
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: As stated in the Class Specification.
Skills
Knowledge of equipment and methods used in the maintenance and repair of automotive equipment.
Ability to operate tools used in automotive repair, inspect automotive equipment, purchase parts and materials, keep accurate records of inventory, reconcile and make reports, follow oral and written directions.
Ability to work cooperatively with others, work efficiently, report to work on time.

$7,071.00 - $8,788.00 per Month
Schedule
Up to 40 hours per week in an office setting with artificial light and temperature control. Approximately 50% of the time spent in the field, which includes remaining in a stationary position, driving, and ambulating.
