Automotive Parts Technical Support Representative (Transmission Focused)

THE ROAD TO BETTER STARTS WITH YOU BD Diesel is looking for an experienced Technical Support Representative who is accountable for providing world class sales support to BD customers necessary to continuously improve the creation and delivery of value to our customers. As a valuable member of the BD Diesel team, this position helps customers problem solve, select the right parts and provide insight on installation challenges. This role helps our customers and their vehicles reach their full potential by providing detailed knowledge combined with excellent customer service. We are seeking candidates with extensive knowledge of automotive transmissions, specifically gas transmissions. This position reports to the Technical Service Supervisor and works 8:00AM to 5:00PM PST, Monday to Friday. Requirements As a Technical Support Representative, your role includes: Maintain a high level of product and service knowledgeAssist customers with automotive related sales questions related to products, installations and service supportFunction as the Technical Expert for both customers and sales team memberWorking with both the Sales Team and Engineering Team, relay customer feedback and identify trends allowing for product improvement/modification as requiredProvide customers with in-depth information regarding equipment & parts for saleChampion the customer as an advocate throughout the RMA processWork to resolve customer complaints in person, via telephone or emailSupport the sales team where required in the areas of technical knowledge and customer support Who You Are: High School diploma or equivalentDemonstrated vehicle maintenance experience, ASE Automotive Certification or equivalent preferredVehicle maintenance experience is required.
