Responsibilities

• Manage logistics for parts and equipment to/from customers, satellite stores, and vendors
• Work closely with the Parts Manager, Inventory Control Administrator, Parts Counter employees, and Shipping and Receiving Clerk for coordination
• Manage the delivery and receiving log
• Unload the truck each night
• Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts
• Maintain basic upkeep of the parts department truck(s): check oil with each fill-up, ensure monthly lubrication, and complete annual state safety inspections

Requirements

• 1–2 years of prior experience in parts or a driving/delivery position preferred
• Valid in-state driver’s license and a good driving record, per company standards
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to meet physical requirements: drive company vehicles 6–8 hours per shift and lift/transport parts up to 70 pounds multiple times daily
• Previous forklift use a plus
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English with strong communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
