Automotive Parts Delivery Driver – Entry Level
About the role
We are looking for a reliable entry-level Automotive Parts Delivery Driver to safely pick up and deliver automotive parts and equipment for the dealership while providing professional, dependable service to our customers, wholesale accounts, vendors, and other dealership locations. Automotive or parts experience is helpful but not required. We seek an individual with a safe driving record, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to assist wherever needed.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver automotive parts and equipment to customers, satellite locations, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
- Maintain an accurate daily log of deliveries and pickups.
- Load and unload the delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Turn in invoices, receipts, and other required paperwork at the end of each day.
- Perform basic vehicle checks, including monitoring fuel and oil levels and keeping the vehicle clean.
- Notify management when maintenance, repairs, or inspections are needed.
- Assist the Parts Department with inventory, stocking, and organizing parts as needed.
- Help maintain a clean and professional Parts Department.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain high ethical standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable and safe driving record.
- Ability to read and understand instructions and delivery information in English.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with customers, vendors, and other employees.
- Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently.
Previous automotive parts or delivery experience is preferred but not required. Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, drive, and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Ability to kneel, bend, reach, and work above shoulder level.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry automotive parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely load and unload parts from a delivery vehicle.

Pay
Starting pay: $12-$18 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule
Full-time, entry-level position. Tuesday through Saturday (hours may vary: 8 AM–5 PM or 7 AM–2 PM). Some overtime possible. Local delivery routes with no overnight travel. Company delivery vehicle provided. No CDL required.
