Automotive Parts Customer Pickup Coordinator
About the role
Welcome customers and provide exceptional customer service from arrival through pickup. Assist customers purchasing and picking up automotive parts. Locate customer orders and verify order information. Create and process customer pickup (CPU) orders. Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure orders are pulled and ready for pickup. Print customer tickets and provide pickup instructions. Process cash, credit card, and check payments accurately. Balance the cash drawer and reconcile daily transactions. Process product returns, damage credits, and return merchandise authorizations (RMAs). Initiate warranty claims as needed. Answer incoming calls regarding customer orders and product inquiries. Look up parts using Pinnacle (training provided). Monitor open customer pickup orders and communicate order status. Maintain accurate customer and transaction records. Keep the front office, customer waiting area, and supply inventory organized. Collaborate with warehouse, sales, accounting, and management to ensure an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of customer service, retail, parts counter, or sales support experience.
- Experience handling cash and customer payments.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn ERP and inventory management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Automotive parts experience.
- Experience working at a dealership, salvage yard, auto recycler, collision center, or auto parts retailer.
- Experience with parts lookup systems or inventory software.
- Experience processing returns and warranty claims.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Pay
$24 – 28 per hour.
