Responsibilities
- Assist technicians and service advisors with parts requests
- SOURCE, ORDER, RECEIVE, AND STOCK AUTOMOTIVE PARTS
- Maintain accurate inventory records and bin locations
- WORK DIRECTLY WITH OEM, AFTERMARKET, AND WHOLESALE VENDORS
- PROCESS PARTS RETURNS, CREDITS, AND WARRANTY CLAIMS
- ENSURE ALL PARTS ORDERS ARE PROPERLY DOCUMENTED AND APPROVED
- MONITOR BACKORDERS AND COMMUNICATE UPDATES TO SERVICE STAFF
- AID IN INVENTORY COUNTS AND RECONCILIATIONS
- MANTAIN A CLEAN AND ORGANIZED PARTS DEPARTMENT
Qualifications
- Previous automotive parts experience required
- Dealership experience preferred
- Knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with DealerTrack, DMS systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license required
