Role Overview As an Automotive Painter, you will be responsible for transforming raw truck components into finished, road-ready vehicles by applying high-quality paint finishes. Your duties include surface preparation, color application, and finishing to meet precise specifications, ensuring each vehicle is visually appealing and meets customer standards. Key Responsibilities Paint various truck parts, including full bodies, chassis, cabs, trailers, and tractors.Operate painting tools such as cup guns, pressure pots, plural systems, and airless sprayers with confidence.Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to ensure accuracy in paint application.Perform setup, routine maintenance, and safety checks on painting equipment.Handle hazardous waste properly and promote a safe, clean workspace. Qualifications & Skills Auto body painting experience and ability to pass paint tests.Familiarity with paint tools and proper usage.Basic math and measurement skills, with the ability to read blueprints.Comfort with physical tasks such as standing, lifting up to 35 pounds, and working at heights.Previous manufacturing or truck body experience is advantageous. Physical & Team Environment This hands-on role requires standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, and safety awareness in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Effective communication and teamwork are essential to maintain safety and quality standards.
