Automotive Paint Technician - $6,000 Bonus

About the role

We’re looking for Auto Painters with a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive painting experience to join us at Carvana - the fastest‑growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500. As a Mid‑Level Painter, you’ll be expected to match/mix paint color and use water‑based paint to paint the vehicle inside our paint booths. You’ll work with state‑of‑the‑art tools in our high‑tech Inspection Centers, and if you’re joining us in an entry‑level position we offer training programs to help your skills and pay grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Match and mix paint colors for vehicles.
• Apply water‑based paint to vehicles inside paint booths.
• Use state‑of‑the‑art tools and equipment to perform painting tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools – must be able to lift up to 60 lb independently.
• At least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing production environment, sometimes exposed to extreme weather (heat/cold).
• Willingness to use required safety equipment (face shield/goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask, etc.).
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.

Schedule
