Automotive Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for an Automotive Maintenance Technician to join their team at Napleton's Lexus of Milwaukee. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry, where the successful candidate will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers.
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Keeping store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized work area.

Requirements

• Automotive Service Technician experience.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.
