About the role
The position is a Lube & Oil Technician at a growing business committed to family, promoting employees from within, protecting the environment, and actively engaging with the community and local charities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customer satisfaction by performing lube-related services professionally and efficiently.
- Determine management, production, and quality requirements by asking questions and listening.
- Attend company meetings as required.
- Maintain a follow-up system that encourages follow through with assigned projects.
- Establish personal performance goals that align with company standards of productivity and devise strategies to meet those goals.
- Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively.
- Understand the terminology of the business and stay updated on technology changes in products and services.
- Know and understand federal, state, and local requirements governing the company's business.
- Perform lube oil filter services in a professional manner and perform vehicle inspections as required.
- Provide excellent customer service for all customers, both external and internal.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Receive service assignments from the service writer or service manager.
- Complete service assignments within the allotted time.
- Set goals, develop skills, and continuously improve efficiency.
- Take care that the vehicle is cleaner when the job is completed than when the customer dropped it off.
Qualifications
- 1 or more years of Lube and Oil Technician Experience.
- Valid Drivers License Required.
- Necessary tools to complete the job.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.
