Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Plattsburgh

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as an Automotive Detailer. Both part‑time and full‑time positions are available. This position is located at 724 NY‑3, Plattsburgh, NY 12901‑7433.

Pay

Starting rate of $18.00 per hour based on a 25‑hour work week. Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance.

Schedule

• Full‑time: 40 hours per week, consistent schedule.
• Part‑time: 25 hours per week.
• Flexible schedules of up to 40 hours/week for full‑time and 25 hours/week for part‑time are available.
• Monday and at least one weekend shift every other weekend are required for all schedules.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry‑standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; reset/restore vehicle settings; locate customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found; verify registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; examine vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicle.
• Inspect vehicles for safety concerns; report warning lights, windshield or tire damage; pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed, including transporting customers to and from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations (desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, etc.).
• Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted US driver’s license; ability to operate a motor vehicle is essential.
• Authorization to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Residence within a reasonable commute (≤ 1 hour) from the work location.
• At least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
