Automotive Detailer - Car Washer- Leesburg

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a part-time Automotive Detailer at our Leesburg, FL location (1725 Mount Vernon Rd). This position is for immediate openings and focuses on upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, safety, and readiness, including:
  • Checking fuel level and warning lights
  • Inspecting windshields for damage
  • Factory resetting/restoring vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
  • Checking for customer items and placing valuables in Lost & Found
  • Verifying registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
  • Checking fluid levels and adding as needed
  • Inspecting tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
  • Inspecting vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicles
• Report any safety concerns, warning lights, or vehicle damage
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, reporting any unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed, including transporting them to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including:
  • Cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and trash areas
  • Vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and cleaning bathrooms
  • Performing other miscellaneous tasks related to daily branch cleanliness
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past three years
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past five years
• Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English
• Must be willing to stand and walk (3-5 miles) for long periods of time
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions with moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience

Pay

Starting rate of pay is $16 per hour based on a 25-hour workweek.

Schedule

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
