Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Middleton

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team at 7520 Century Ave, Middleton, WI 53562. This full-time position leads our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, ensuring the health and safety of everyone by washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, safety, and readiness:
  • Check fuel level and warning lights
  • Inspect windshield for damage
  • Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
  • Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
  • Verify registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
  • Check fluid levels and add as needed
  • Inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
  • Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
  • Report any warning lights, vehicle/windshield/tire damage, or safety concerns
• Fuel and stage vehicles
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed, including transporting them to and from branches
• Maintain overall site appearance, including:
  • Cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and trash
  • Cleaning bathrooms
  • Vacuuming and sweeping the lot
  • Performing other miscellaneous tasks related to daily branch cleanliness
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience

Pay

$17 per hour

Schedule

• Sunday: Off
• Monday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (half day during the week if working Saturday)
