Automotive Detailer - Car Washer- Morse Rd

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team at 3245 Morse Rd, Columbus, OH 43231. This full-time position focuses on upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry, ensuring vehicles meet exceptional safety and hygiene protocols for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, trucks, and vans.
• Inspect vehicles for the following:
  • Fuel level and warning lights.
  • Windshield damage.
  • Customer items (place valuables in Lost & Found).
  • Registration presence, currency, and match to license plate.
  • Fluid levels (add as needed).
  • Tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
  • Exterior damage and safety concerns.
• Fuel and stage vehicles; pull vehicles out of prep processing as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers as needed, including transporting them to and from branches.
• Maintain overall site appearance, including:
  • Cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and trash.
  • Vacuuming and sweeping the lot.
  • Cleaning bathrooms and other miscellaneous tasks.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

Pay

Starting rate of $15 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek.

Schedule

• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Monday: OFF
• Tuesday: OFF
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
