Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Huntington Station

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full‑time Automotive Detailer. The role involves washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles to meet high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

Location: 434 E Jericho Tpke, Huntington Station, NY 11746.

Pay

Starting rate of $18.75 per hour based on a 40‑hour workweek, with yearly merit increases based on performance.

Schedule

• Sunday: OFF
• Monday: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
• Tuesday: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
• Wednesday: OFF
• Thursday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Saturday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry‑standard protocols.
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle’s exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; reset/restore vehicle settings; locate customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found; verify registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; examine vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicle.
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report warning lights, windshield or tire damage; pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed, including transporting customers to and from the branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations (desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, etc.).
• Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted U.S. driver’s license (operating a motor vehicle is an essential function).
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Residence within a reasonable commute (≤ 30 minutes) of the job location.
• At least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
