About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team for our National and Alamo car rental brands. This position is located at the Albany International Airport, NY and offers a starting pay rate of $19.00 per hour. Employees have the opportunity to earn incentive pay of up to $200 per month based on business performance, as well as yearly merit increases based on individual performance.

$19.00 per hour, with potential monthly incentive pay up to $200 and yearly merit increases.

Schedule

40 hours per week. Schedules available:

  • Sunday: OFF
  • Monday: OFF
  • Tuesday: 7:00am-4:00pm
  • Wednesday: 7:00am-4:00pm
  • Thursday: 7:00am-4:00pm
  • Friday: 7:00am-4:00pm
  • Saturday: 7:00am-4:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols.
  • Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks.
  • Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, safety, and readiness, including:
    • Checking fuel level and warning lights.
    • Inspecting windshield for damage.
    • Factory resetting/restoring vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
    • Checking for customer items and placing valuables in Lost & Found.
    • Verifying registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
  • Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
  • Inspect vehicle exterior for damage; report any warning lights, vehicle/windshield/tire damage.
  • Fuel and stage vehicles for rental readiness.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
  • Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
  • Assist customers as needed, including transporting them to and from branches.
  • Help maintain overall site appearance, including:
    • Cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and trash areas.
    • Vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and cleaning bathrooms.
    • Performing other miscellaneous tasks related to daily branch cleanliness.
  • Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle; valid, unrestricted U.S. driver's license required.
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
  • Must live within a reasonable commute (no more than 1 hour) from the Albany International Airport location.
  • At least six (6) consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
