Automotive Customer Service Representative
About the role
Cable Dahmer Automotive Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) for their Collision Center. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the repair process and plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a welcoming, professional experience in the collision center
- Answer customer questions and explain repair services and timelines
- Schedule repair appointments and coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow
- Aid customers with repair estimates and explain the repair process
- Communicate with insurance companies to support claims processing and required documentation
- Provide regular updates to customers on repair progress and timelines
- Process invoices, payments, and resolve billing questions when needed
- Address customer concerns and help resolve issues to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain accurate customer records, repair orders, and documentation
- Support general office operations including phone calls, filing, and system updates
Requirements
This is an entry-level position with opportunities for career growth within the automotive industry. High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous Customer Service or Retail Experience is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain information to customers, a friendly and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills, detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities, basic computer proficiency and comfort using office systems, and ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment are desired.
