Automotive Business Consultant – AutoVision
About the role
This is a high-travel position requiring overnight hotel stays up to five nights per week. As an Automotive Business Consultant, you will build professional relationships with customers and help their businesses become more efficient, effective, and profitable. You will identify dealership trouble areas and apply proven consulting programs and industry knowledge to resolve issues, then follow up to maintain relationships and provide ongoing fee-for-service support.
Training
Training includes field time with experienced consulting and sales representatives for approximately 90 days, online courses completed from your home office, and classroom instruction at offices in Dayton and Houston. Compensation during training is a $60,000–$65,000 base salary. Quarterly bonuses become available after the three-month training period. Total targeted income after training (including base and bonuses) is $75,000 or more.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Five or more years of automotive dealership experience (e.g., Sales Manager, Internet Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, F&I Manager, or General Manager)
- Willingness to travel extensively with overnight hotel stays up to five nights per week
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with fewer than two moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years
- Reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing
