Automotive Business Consultant

About the role

Reynolds and Reynolds is seeking experienced automotive professionals to join their consulting team. They are known for their superior software solutions, award-winning sales, service, and support in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Establish professional relationships with customers
• Identify trouble areas within the dealership
• Use consulting services programs and industry knowledge to solve identified issues
• Maintain relationships with customers post-project
• Provide ongoing 'fee for service' support and problem resolution
• Build trust to drive consulting services sales

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of automotive dealership experience (Sales Associate/Representative, Service Advisor, Sales Manager, Internet Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, F&I Manager, Controller/Office Manager, Parts Manager, Service Manager, Fixed Operations Director, or GM)
• Willingness to travel extensively with overnight hotel stays up to 5 nights per week (every week)
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years
• Reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing

Training

The training program includes time with experienced consultants and sales representatives, online courses, and classroom instruction. Compensation during training is a $60,000-63,000 base salary, with eligibility for quarterly bonuses after 9 months. Total targeted income after training (including base and bonuses) is $80,000+.
