Automotive Business Consultant

About the role

Reynolds and Reynolds is seeking experienced automotive professionals to join their consulting team. They are known for their superior software solutions, award-winning sales, service, and support, making them a prominent player in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Establish professional relationships with customers to help their businesses become more efficient, effective, and profitable.
• Work with dealership personnel to identify trouble areas within the dealership.
• Use established and proven consulting services programs, as well as industry knowledge, to help solve identified issues.
• Follow-up with customers to maintain relationships and provide ongoing 'fee for service' support and problem resolution.
• Build trust with customers to drive consulting services sales.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• 5+ years of automotive dealership experience (Sales Associate/Representative, Service Advisor, Sales Manager, Internet Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, F&I Manager, Controller/Office Manager, Parts Manager, Service Manager, Fixed Operations Director, or GM)
• Willingness to travel extensively with overnight hotel stays up to 5 nights per week (every week)
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years
• Reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing

Pay

Your compensation during training will be a $60,000-63,000 base salary. You will be eligible for quarterly bonuses after the 9 month training period. Total targeted income after training (including base and bonuses) is $80,000+

Schedule

Must be willing to travel, with overnight hotel stays, up to 5 nights per week (every week).
