Automotive Business Consultant

About the role

Reynolds and Reynolds is seeking experienced automotive professionals to join its consulting team. The company offers superior software solutions and has a strong reputation in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Establish professional relationships with customers
• Identify trouble areas within dealerships and use consulting services to solve these issues
• Provide ongoing 'fee for service' support and problem resolution
• Build trust with customers to drive consulting services sales

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• 5+ years of automotive dealership experience in roles such as Sales Associate/Representative, Service Advisor, Sales Manager, Internet Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, F&I Manager, Controller/Office Manager, Parts Manager, Service Manager, Fixed Operations Director, or General Manager
• Willingness to travel extensively with overnight hotel stays up to 5 nights per week (every week)
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years
• Reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing

Pay

Your compensation during training will be a $60,000-63,000 base salary. You will be eligible for quarterly bonuses after the 9-month training period. Total targeted income after training (including base and bonuses) is $80,000+.

You will be expected to travel extensively with overnight hotel stays up to 5 nights per week (every week).
