Automotive Business Consultant

Responsibilities

• Establish professional relationships with customers to help their businesses become more efficient, effective, and profitable.
• Work with dealership personnel to identify trouble areas within the dealership.
• Use established and proven consulting services programs, as well as industry knowledge, to solve identified issues.
• Follow-up with customers to maintain relationships and provide ongoing 'fee for service' support and problem resolution.
• Build trust with customers to drive consulting services sales.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of automotive dealership experience in roles such as Sales Associate/Representative, Service Advisor, Sales Manager, Internet Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, F&I Manager, Controller/Office Manager, Parts Manager, Service Manager, Fixed Operations Director, or General Manager.
• Willingness to travel extensively with overnight hotel stays up to 5 nights per week (every week).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years.
• Reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.

Pay

Your compensation during training will be a $60,000-63,000 base salary. You will be eligible for quarterly bonuses after the 9 month training period. Total targeted income after training (including base and bonuses) is $80,000+.

Schedule

The position involves extensive travel with overnight hotel stays, typically up to 5 nights per week (every week).
