Automotive Accounts Receivable Clerk

What You'll Do

• Process and post customer payments accurately and timely
• Maintain customer accounts and accounts receivable aging
• Perform collections on past-due accounts while maintaining positive customer relationships
• Match customer receipts to final invoices using supporting documentation
• Reconcile accounts receivable balances and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare monthly statements, invoices, and credit memos
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding account status
• Reconcile and prepare daily bank deposits
• Review, code, and process vendor invoices using three-way matching
• Audit and process company credit card statements and expense reports
• Maintain organized customer files and accounting records
• Assist with additional accounting projects and administrative duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• 2-4 years of Accounts Receivable experience
• Experience with collections, reconciliations, and cash handling
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong computer proficiency and accounting system experience
• Professional, dependable, and customer-focused
• Preferred Qualifications: Automotive dealership accounting experience, CDK experience, additional accounting or bookkeeping experience

Pay Scale

Pay Scale: Base hourly rate ranges between $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
