Automation Support Specialist II-2

Role Overview: This position supports distribution services through maintenance and repair of facility equipment and systems in a warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Develops and implements preventative maintenance plans for all equipment and systems.Diagnoses and repairs materials handling and automated picking systems, including electrical and mechanical issues.Oversees system upgrades, modifications, and assesses equipment efficiency for improvements.Performs routine maintenance, maintains repair records in CMMS/EAM systems, and manages spare parts inventory.Supports and troubleshoots electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and water treatment.Program and configure PLCs, troubleshoot network communication, and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.Mentors other technicians and communicates effectively across teams. Qualifications & Skills Technical vocational training or similar experience, with at least two years in maintenance roles; electrical background preferred.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, including PLCs, wiring diagrams, and control troubleshooting.Proficiency in diagnosing electrical components, programming PLCs, and operating MHE network devices.Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work extended hours as needed.
