About the role

Supports distribution services by ensuring optimal maintenance and operation of facility equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements preventative maintenance plans
• Diagnoses and repairs Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking Systems
• Manages system upgrades and modifications
• Assesses equipment efficiency for necessary improvements
• Performs routine preventive tasks
• Maintains maintenance records in CMMS/EAM systems
• Manages spare parts inventory
• Works extended hours as needed

Qualifications

Requires technical vocational training or equivalent experience, with at least two years of related experience, preferably with a strong electrical background.

Skills

• Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, including reading CAD layouts, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
• Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting communication networks, and operating chill water systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to mentor team members
